Abbey Road Studios have announced the return of Amplify, a two-day event which sees the legendary studio open its doors to the next generation of artists, engineers and creatives for two days of free masterclasses, interactive sessions, workshops, A&R demo feedback sessions and Q&As.
Sessions taking place across the two days are as follows (times all GMT):
November 10
- Mix Breakdown with James Ford: 10:00 – 11:15
- An Introduction To Beatmaking: 13:15 – 14:30
- The Road To Becoming An Engineer: 14:45 – 16:00
- From Script to Score: a Composer's Journey Through Film: 16:30PM – 17:45
- Becoming a Composer: 18:00 – 19:00
- Melodies in The Virtual Realm: Composing For Video Games: 19:15 – 20:30
November 11
- The Craft of Hitmaking: 11:30 – 12:45
- Be Heard, Be Seen: Crafting Your Brand Identity: 13:00 – 14:15
- Digital Marketing: Building a Fanbase & Online Presence: 14:30 – 15:45
- How To Release Music In 2023: 16:00 – 17:15
There are a limited number of in-person spaces available via an online ballot, with randomly selected winners given the chance to attend an allocated session in the facility’s Studios Two and Three. The entire event will also be live streamed via YouTube, allowing guests to join from the comfort of their own home.
